The Power of Artful Connection: Expressing What It Means to Be Alive

ArtfulConnection

"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see." – Edgar Degas

I recently did a Google search on the subject line of "life is…" Would you like to know what I came up with? I found a series of quotes. Here are a few. "Life is a game. Life is a journey. Life is a long lesson in humility. Life is jazz and works best when you improvise." My personal take on the subject is that "life is art," and the part that intrigues me the most is what I call "artful connection."

In a world where conformity is often praised, artful connection allows us to break free from societal expectations and express ourselves authentically. Artful connection is centered on the idea that art is the means by which we communicate what it feels like to be alive.

The ability to create artful connections is often hindered by fear of judgment or lack of confidence. However, everyone has an artistic side waiting to be explored. By embracing our unique talents and passions, we can bring our own creative flair to every aspect of our lives.

Artful connection is not just about creating visual or performance art. It is about how we bring ourselves to our work and our interactions with others. It's about allowing our passions to inspire and guide us and using creative tools to uncover new possibilities.

The power of artful connection lies in its ability to move and inspire others. When we authentically express ourselves through our art, others can sense the passion and creativity within us. This can lead to deeper connections and a more meaningful life.

My art is designed to create more art. I love showing leaders how to use powerful tools to embrace their uniqueness and unearth incredible new possibilities. But artful connection goes deeper than how we create art in the outside world. It's also about the way we relate to our inner world.

Last week I had a conversation with someone in the biotech field who secretly wanted to run a flower and garden shop. By bridging the gap between her logical thinking mind and her true passion, she was able to tap into her artistic side, and she is starting to take steps to create what she truly wants.

Ultimately, artful connection is about using the tools available to create beauty, abundance, and pleasure in our lives. Whether we are leading a business, parenting our children, or simply pursuing our passions, we can all benefit from embracing our artistic side and expressing ourselves authentically. Your art is in your heart! It is literally a part of the word HEART, so if that's not a sign, I don't know what is.
